About the Event
We are delighted to announce that the 8th edition of the ICC Safety & Sustainability Conclave is jointly organized by the Department of Chemicals and Petrochemicals and the Indian Chemical Council (ICC) on the 26th-27th November 2026 at Laxmi Vilas Palace Convention Centre, Vadodara, Gujarat. The Department of Chemicals and Petrochemicals, Govt. of India has recognized the Sustainability Conclave as a Departmental Event in the past.

The past five editions of the conclave received recognition and support from speakers and delegates from EU, US, Japan, Singapore, etc. International Council of Chemical Associations (ICCA), European Chemical Industry Council (CEFIC), American Chemistry Council (ACC), Singapore Chemical Industry Council (SCIC) and United Nations Environment Program (UNEP) participated in the program.
In line with the national focus, this year’s conclave will deliberate on reducing and mitigating carbon footprints, promote innovations and their adoptions and encourage sustainable corporate governance and practices. The two-day event will bring together senior representatives from Indian and Global companies, government officers, multilateral organizations, chemical industry bodies, and academic experts to discuss trending issues and opportunities, including ESG strategies, de-carbonization, net-zero transition, digital transformation, green growth, cleaner energy, safety promotion, and product stewardship beyond regulations.
