About the Event

This is a major initiative of the Indian Chemical Industry for promoting sustainability in the management of the entire life cycle of chemicals. All the previous editions were supported by the Department of Chemicals & Petrochemicals, Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers and, Ministry of Environment, Forests & Climate Change, Government of India.... Further Inspired by clarion call by our Hon’ble Prime Minister at Cop 26 of UNFCC and enunciation of five commitments – Panchamrit, set the roadmap of the country and its commitment to support the global goals to mitigate the impact of Climate change.

The two-day event will host senior representatives from Indian and Global companies, government officers, multilateral organizations, chemical industry bodies, and academic experts to discuss trending issues and opportunities, including ESG strategies, de-carbonization, net-zero transition, digital transformation, green growth, cleaner energy, safety promotion, and product stewardship beyond regulations. This will help in adoption of new technologies and chemistry to reduce the carbon footprint in the Indian chemical industry.

Given India's global commitments to mitigate climate change, reduce carbon footprints, enhance the use of renewable energy, and promote sustainable corporate operations, the Sustainability Conclave holds great significance.
